Color Theory based Paper Cubism Mosaic Art – Abstract Flowers –

Creating Cubism Art using cutting tools and colored paper.  Students will recreate a painting using geometric shapes of colored paper then gluing them together to form a textured work of art.  An exercise in using knowledge of color theory and adapting it to the cubism style.  Planes of color, abstract blocks, and shapes best describe this contemporary and exciting form of art!

Please bring a xacto knife , cutting mat, metal ruler, Bristol boardpaper.
Instructor will supply colored paper, pencils and paste
