In-Person: Turkish Ceramic Painting with Altan Erginkoc

The art of pottery/ceramic painting, one of the vibrant artistic traditions in Ottoman history, is kept alive in a traditional way till now. You will see beautiful examples of these tiles as you learn about this historic art form with a relationship to Turkish arts and culture while painting on ceramic bisque tiles.

Learn basic drawing of traditional ceramic pattern (available for easy reproduction or students may create their own ) design while hand painting on the pre-made bisque tile. By the end of class, you will have a tile bisque completely designed and painted by you.

Firing is not included however glazing will be provided end of the class by the instructor.
