DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE \nAugust 13 – 17\, 2025 \nJoin us for the 20th annual Artists Paint OC\, where artists bring the Ocean City area to life through plein air painting! Registration is currently full for this event – join our waitlist! \nArtists will set up along the boardwalk\, streets\, harbors\, bay\, and marshes to capture the beauty of our coastal town. Registration includes participation in the full event and the Quick Paint competition. Limited to 50 artists\, age 18 or older\, on a first-come basis. \nRegistration Fee: $50 for Art League members | $65 for non-members (Non-refundable registration fee) Registration is currently full. \nPublic Reception & Art Sale: Saturday\, August 16\, 5-7 PM at the Arts Center (Juried entries will remain on display through September 2025). \nJuror: Sara Linda Poly\, originally from the Philadelphia area\, studied at university in PA\, VA\, MD.\, and with local and national artists. Sara’s past experience includes illustration and design and work as assistant gallery director at the Art League Gallery\, in Alexandria\, VA.\, where she is now an instructor. August 17th\nDowntown Ocean City\n$25 Members\, $30 Non-Members \nPaint against the clock in downtown Ocean City for your chance at $650 total prizes sponsored by the Ocean City Development Corporation!\n\n8-8:30 am – Artists check-in in front of Thrasher’s Fries on the boardwalk and get paper/canvas stamped. Onsite registration available.\n9-11 am – Artists paint against the clock in the downtown area – from beach to bay and inlet to N. Division St.\n11 am – Cease painting and return to the OC Center for the Arts to set up artwork for judging and sale.\n12:30 pm – Judging of artwork.\n1pm – 3 pm – Off-the-easel art sale\, with live music and mimosa cash bar\n\nNOTE: Artists registered for the full Plein Air event are automatically signed up for the Quick Paint and do not need to sign up separately. \nClick Here to Register!

DESCRIPTION:Project: Beach Paintings \nLooking for a fun and creative way to spend your Saturday mornings with the kids? Join us for Free Saturday Kids Crafts at the Art League of Ocean City! This drop-in activity is perfect for families looking to explore their artistic side together. \n🖍️ Every Saturday\, 11am–1pm🎨 New project every week – come back often!💧 Held outside on our patio (weather permitting) \nNo reservations needed – just stop by and get creative! These hands-on art activities are free and open to all\, but please note: \n\n\nSeating is limited to 24 kids at a time \n\n\nTable seating is reserved for participating children \n\n\nAdditional seating is available on benches in the courtyard’s grass area \n\n\nWe recommend wearing cool clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy \n\n\nBring water and stay hydrated while you create! \n\n\nIn case of inclement weather\, crafts will be moved inside. \nCome make art\, make memories\, and make a mess! \nInterested in volunteering?
