Artist Biography:
Laura Jednorski is an intuitive artist based in Rehoboth Beach. She has won several awards from local galleries, including Best in Show in April 2025. Her artwork has also been selected to be on the Rehoboth Beach Womensfest t-shirt for several years. She uses a mix of acrylic, texture and random pieces collected along her journey. She knew she was destined to be an artist after painting her bicycle with a paint brush as a child!
Artist Statement:
I work primarily with acrylics, adding texture to build depth and interest. Often I will add natural elements such as driftwood and stones, as well as rusty metal and other random pieces that I collect along the way, knowing that one day I will incorporate it into one of my art pieces. I paint intuitively from my heart and soul, inviting viewers to connect and explore, taking their own journey into my work. You can always find something new and I love hearing the viewer’s perspective.
