Fiber Artist, master classes in Felting and Eco Dyeing
Artist Statement:
I’m a fiber artist from Sussex County DE. Working primarily with wool and other natural fibers and various wet and dry felting processes, I make art, wearable art and home decor items. Also, I work with a process called eco-dyeing, using no toxic chemical mordants and foliage I mostly grow at my home. Fabrics used in this process are wool, silk, linen, cotton and viscose. I often up-cycle clothing and home decor items using this process to give them a unique, contemporary flair, and I also combine my felted pieces with the eco-dyeing process.
