Featured in the Thaler Gallery:
"More than Meets the Eye", photography by George Sass.
- After 25 years of running his advertising agency with offices in Maryland, New York and Europe, George started a new career as a freelance photojournalist for yachting magazines. During this time he travelled the world on assignments, voyaging more than 50,000 miles offshore and along coastal and inland waterways. Over 100 of his feature stories have been published in national publications, many of which have won magazine awards of excellence. Today his focus is on his fine art photography. His photographs have been juried into exhibits by the Maryland Federation of Art, Chestertown River Arts, Kent Island Federation of Art, the Rehoboth Art League, the Art League of Ocean City, Oxford Fine Arts, and the St. Michaels Art League. In 2021 he was selected by the Talbot County Arts Council as one of the featured artists to represent the "We Are Talbot Arts" campaign. George resides in St. Michaels, Maryland with his wife, a watercolorist, and they continue to travel by land, sea, and air practicing their respective art forms.

In Studio E:
Ian Postley graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 2014 and won an Art League scholarship to attend the Delaware College Art and Design. When he’s not crying under his desk, Illustrator and Bishopville native Ian Postley is hard at work bringing concepts to fruition in vivid color. Besides being the poster designer of the annual ‘Ocean City Film Festival’, Postley commonly finds himself in the role of a freelance artist. With a resume of experience spanning from traditional illustration to digital centric works such as stickers, logos, poster designs, merchandise branding, album covers, etc., it seems like Ian Postley can practically do anything but sleep.

Petra Bernstein (pictured). At the Coffee Beanery, 94th St:
C.K. Rompf. Offsite exhibits run through March 2022.
- Born and raised in the German countryside, Petra learned to appreciate nature at an early age. She uses both photography and painting to express her deep connection to the natural world. Her artwork ranges from close-up photographs and paintings of flora and fauna to abstract interpretations of nature’s mysteries. Living on the Wicomico River, she is surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and wildlife. The rhythmic reflections of the water, the ever changing light conditions, the seasons and the variety of the marsh plants inspire her to capture and interpret her immediate surrounding. Petra earned a BFA from Salisbury University Summa Cum Laude in 2007 with a concentration in painting. Additionally, she has a BS from the University of Regensburg in Germany, where she worked as a teacher before moving to the United States.
- C.K. Rompf is an award winning digital artist, photographer, and poet who lives on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. A graduate of the Writing Seminars at The Johns Hopkins University, he is the co-editor of The McGraw Hill Book of Poetry and The McGraw Hill Book of Fiction(with Robert DiYanni) and the author of two chapbooks: Skunk Missal and Five Fingers. His poetry has appeared in such publications as “Poetry Now,” “The New York Quarterly,” “The Falcon,” “Exquisite Corpse,” and “The Bitter Oleander.” He has read and discussed his poetry on National Public Radio, at the Folger Shakespeare Library, and at various colleges, bars, and coffeehouses in the New York/ Baltimore/ Washington area.
