"People & Places", paintings by Laura Era.  Laura Era is an award-winning, professional portrait and landscape artist and teacher....but her passion is portraiture. Basically self-taught, she considers herself an artist since the cradle! Since turning professional in 1988, she has painted multitudes of portraits on commission, both formal and informal, in oil and pastel.  Her works hang in collections throughout the US and Europe. A gifted painting instructor since 1990, she teaches from her waterfront studio near Cambridge, Maryland. A member of the Portrait Society of America, the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters, the Maryland Pastel Society, the Working Artist Forum and the Academy Art Museum. Laura is the owner of the prestigious Troika Gallery in Easton, Maryland. Laura will judge the 2023 Artists Paint OC Plein Air Event this August.
