Golie Miamee -
A born traveler who loves to photograph and capture what I see and experience on my journeys. A visual artist, rather than a traditional photographer, who uses a photograph as my canvas and digital editing as the main medium. I strive to let my audience see the world as I see it through my lens where every photo becomes a timeless capture of that specific scene. Intrigued by the world, my love for photography, and passion for travel, have together allowed me to capture memorable moments of nature, people, places, art, culture and much more. I see every photograph as an image that can come to life; and hope that each one gives my viewers the same bliss and enjoyment as it does for me. I venture to expand my work by adding more destinations from around the world while developing new media techniques.

In the Spotlight Gallery:
Ellie Scott -
My paintings are inspired by my world travel and adventures. The Eastern Shore of Maryland & Virginia more recently have given me more subjects, seascapes, Assateague horses in the marsh and local genre to paint and share. I enjoy using soft to vivid colors of the medium and also like the flow and action of the watercolor and recently the boldness of oil and the palette knife technique.
“Painting is a wonderful way for me to express my thoughts and personality.”

- Born and raised in the German countryside, Petra learned to appreciate nature at an early age. She uses both photography and painting to express her deep connection to the natural world. Her artwork ranges from close-up photographs and paintings of flora and fauna to abstract interpretations of nature’s mysteries. Living on the Wicomico River, she is surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and wildlife. The rhythmic reflections of the water, the ever changing light conditions, the seasons and the variety of the marsh plants inspire her to capture and interpret her immediate surrounding. Petra earned a BFA from Salisbury University Summa Cum Laude in 2007 with a concentration in painting. Additionally, she has a BS from the University of Regensburg in Germany, where she worked as a teacher before moving to the United States.
