Artist Statement:
As a fly fisherman I naturally became interested in tying my own flies. While looking through fly patterns I came across articles on salmon flies and was immediately hooked (pun intended) by their beauty. I began experimenting with my own patterns and began to display my flies in frames or on other material My niece suggested I also make jewelry, such as earrings and pins. I love the creative aspects of turning fishing hooks into things of beauty.
