Artist Biography:
Jack Knight was born in Ontario, Canada and grew up in western New York. He received an MFA in Painting from SUNY@Buffalo. He has had over 20 solo exhibits and over 150 group shows. Knight has received numerous awards – most recently the 2021 Artist Fellowship in Sculpture from The Delaware Division of the Arts. In November of 2021 Knight had a solo exhibit of paintings entitled, “Geometric Abstractions” show at the Rehoboth Art League. He is a member of the Philadelphia Sculptors, Salisbury Art Space, New Hope Arts, and Rehoboth Art League.

Geometry ZOO painting series:
These paintings are a transition from my Geometric Abstraction works to what I refer to as “Visual Symbolic Expression”. I use recognizable images, symbols and icons in creating a new composition. I invite the viewer to decide the storyline.
