Andromeda Series:
These are a departure from conventional easel painting. I refer to these as “combines”, because I combine canvas, painted wood and Masonite in creating a 3d composition of shape , color and form. So what are these artworks that hang on a wall, painting or sculpture? They are three dimensions so they could be considered sculpture. However they include painted canvas. I’m not overly concerned on how to categorize, only to be appreciated visually.
