Artist Statement:
I think of my creations as highlighted fractions of time standing still. My intent is to put a hold on a particular moment and emphasize on the individual fragments that it’s made of. My arrangements allegorically draw the viewer into a harmonious scheme of the contradictions between light and dark. They derive from previous observations with a little more personal intimacy. I lean on the ambition of seduction and desire of always wanting more because there will always be more.
In my art I like to capture the difficulties of mundanity figures. The boring, dull moments that consume the majority of our lives. I like to explore the ways that people communicate with one another and the need of acceptance in this diverse yet demanding world. This collection has always had a foundation of pleasure and rough aesthetics while maintaining minimalism and expressionism.
