Artist Statement
My goal is to capture precious moments as realistically as possible. I work to continually better my skills. I work in mainly in acrylic and oil but love to branch out into other mediums such as colored pencil.
Artist Biography
At the age of seven, I received a paint by number set for a gift. After completing the painting, I used the leftover paint and the cardboard from the inside of the box to create another painting. I continued to paint throughout the years and studied ‘commercial art’ in high school. I continued with art studies and finally spent 10 years at Staub Art Studio learning portrait painting. Originally from Massachusetts, I relocated to Maryland and lived there for 35 years before locating to Fenwick Island Maryland. I enjoy gardening and am devoted to my family.
