Artist’s Biography:
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara is new to the Eastern Shore, residing here since only 2016. She graduated with a major in Art Education from Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA, and later received the majority of her training in classical and contemporary realism at Studio Incamminati, Philadelphia, PA. She is a member of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, The Portrait Society of America, and a Signature Member of The Pastel Society of America. Her most recent one-woman show was in Salisbury, MD in 2018. Barbara paints primarily in oil and nearly anything can become fair game as inspiration. Needless to say, Barbara is loving the local beauty, culture, wildlife and diversity where she now finds herself, and is a frequent participant at the local Plein-Air where she has won several awards.
