There is beauty in everything if you look close enough. I like images that tell stories and capture fleeting moments, abandoned places, faces and facades. If my photos have a purpose, it is to capture the beauty around me – be it a beautiful landscape or images of a decaying city, an innocent child or a wizened homeless person.
Kevin Moore is a photographer and native Marylander. He’s won several national competitions for his nature, urban and people photography. His images have been featured in many publications and media, including The Boston Review, SI.com (Sports Illustrated,) Bethesda and Baltimore Magazines, AAA World, Delaware Beach Life, Backpacker, Bicycling and the Colbert Report. Kevin has photos in collections at the National Institutes of Health, Harvard University, Adventist HealthCare, Lockheed Martin and the Smithsonian Institution.
