Petra Bernstein

Petra Bernstein uses both painting and photography to express her love for nature. Born and raised in the German countryside, she learned to appreciate nature at an early age. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Salisbury University in 2007 Summa Cum Laude with a concentration in painting. Petra lives on the Wicomico River, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty. Her immediate surrounding and her deep connection to nature offer her constant inspiration for her artwork. Her recent artwork focuses on the rhythmic reflections and the fluid movements of the water surface. Petra also works on dog portraits.
